WHY REMINDER?
So what sets Reminder apart from all the other
Reminder utilities out there?

Well, if you need a program to pop up and remind
you of appointments, birthdays, dates etc. or run
programs, change your workbench background or
play soundfiles at regular or irregular
intervals (just to mention a few examples), I
doubt you will find a program more powerful,
flexible or easy to use than Reminder.

WHAT REMINDER DOES
Reminder is a powerful reminder & taskscheduler
commodity, with an easy to use (font sensitive)
GUI (clock, input, setup, alarm and message
windows). Reminder can be run from both workbench
and CLI.

Reminder allows you to enter complex time and
date patterns when messages are to be shown *or*
commands are to be executed. Additionally
Reminder features a small alarm facility, and an
optional window that can show any combination of
available chip memory, fast memory, total memory,
date and time with or without seconds.
Alternatively this information can be displayed
directly in the workbench menubar.

Last but not least Reminder has been continuously
developed and improved since 1991, and
development will continue, as long as there are
users out there, who give me feedback in the form
of suggestions for improvements and - sigh -
bugreports.
