This is another program in my series to avoid Windows :)
It reads and displays the files on the CD-ROM "COMPACT WÖRTERBUCH" from
Compact Verlag München (ISBN 3-8174-7225-0). It contains four dictionaries
(English, French, Italian, Spanish) from and into german. The software
on the CD is for windows but the CD is readable on Amigas and this
is the program to use it. It's very simple to use:
CDA WORDS/M,LANG/K,PATH/K
WORDS is a list of strings to look for. Any word in the selected dictionary
(see LANG) is searched for the strings and if they contain any of them
(case doesn't matter), the entry will be displayed. Eg. "CDA ab" will find
"ab", "Abänderung", ...
LANG specifies which dictionary to use. There are eight: DE
(german->english), ED (english->german), DF, FD (german <-> french), DI, ID
(german <-> italian), DS and SD (german <-> spanish). The default is
DE or the contents of the env-variable CDA_LANG.
PATH specify this if you don't want CDA to search the CD (COMPVOK2:).
Just copy the dictionaries you use to your HD and give the path to
the files here. The default is COMPVOK2:, the CD of Compact Verlag München
or the contents of the env-variable CDA_PATH.
