· This is just my attempt to try and bring some order to
  the recent reign of confusion that surrounds the recent
  release of the Linux Doom Source Code, and the subsequent
  release of several ports. I myself am just a "laymen", and
  have no affiliation with anyone but myself. The information
  detailed in this document may or may not be correct, it is
  just what I *think*. So there :-)

or ask on IRC. It might save you the trouble :-)

Each update of this includes more stuff, or corrections. In this
one, we have command line options, cheats etc. etc. added.
Take a look, and if you want to add some stuff, send it to me :-)
