SYNOPSIS

     Scans your mail for unanswered messages and postpones them.

FUNCTION

     Ever experienced the situation  that  you  have  *accidently*  not
  answered a mail you received? AnswerControl  will  prevent  you  from
  doing that again :-)

     AnswerControl scans your mail for messages which have been  marked
  old but have not yet been answered. If it finds  such  a  message  it
  sets  the  postponed  flag  on  it,  so you can easily scan for these
  messages i.e. using a decent newsreader like IntuiNews.

     AnswerControl will not set the postponed  flag  on  messages  that
  have been marked with one or more of the following  flags:  selected,
  junk, expired, archive, postponed or parked. These flags mean you had
  a certain intention with  the  message  and  have  not  forgotten  to
  answer.

     So if you intionally don't want to answer a mail, just set one  of
  the above mentioned flags.

CONFIGURATION

     As you may have some folders in your mail, where mails usually not
  every mail has to  be  answerd  (i.e.  mailinglists),  you  can  tell
  AnswerControl  to  ignore  these  folders  by  specifying them in the
  ums.config variable AnswerControl.IgnoreFolders.

     AnswerControl.IgnoreFolders is an UMS pattern, so you may use UMS'
  wildcards as well.
