Introduction:

UltimateIRCd is an advanced hybrid based on DreamForge and uses a
lot of modified UnrealIRCd functions. It has many features,
such as more operator, services and administrator levels,
multi-network support, easy configurability using settings files read at startup,
half ops, exempt bans, oper/admin only channels, linked channels, no knocks,
no invites, no colors, color stripping, flood limits, the ability for admins to directly
and safely add and remove lines from ircd.conf, invisible oper join, and much more.

UltimateIRCd was ported to Amiga using code by
Mick and Sp^ originally written for UnrealIRCd.

Installation:

Extract the archive to a location of your choice, and assign UIRCD: to that directory.
Rename either the ircd020 or 040 file to ircd depending on your CPU.

Then configure the following files that you will find in the config/ dir its sub directories:
ircd.conf
ircd.ini
ircd.config.h
template.network

Use mkpasswd to create passwords for your O-lines..

If you use AmiTCP (Not Genesis), ignore the following:

Make an ETC: assign to a place of your choice, then make a
file called resolv.conf there, and put in it the following
(case sensitive):

domain <isp domain name>
nameserver <isp dns server ip>

For example:

domain iweb.net.au
nameserver 210.8.138.4

Usage:

Type in a shell/cli window the following:
