(http://aminet.net/tree?path=mods) Yes! That's more than 20,000 modules to play and enjoy! There are also thousands of modules on Haxor.fi, Modland, Modules.pl. So, why not have a program that could automatically download one module at-a-time, extract it, and play it using your favorite player? This is the purpose of AmiModRadio! It can download, unarchive, and send modules to your favorite players: AmigaAMP, DeliTracker, EaglePlayer, HippoPlayer, MultiPlayer, or TuneNet. *** Essentials AmiModRadio is composed essentially of seven components: - A small FTP client (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_Transfer_Protocol) to access and download archives/modules from: - Aminet (http://aminet.net/tree?path=mods); - Modland (http://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/Special:Modland); - A HTTP client (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypertext_Transfer_Protocol) to access and download archives/modules from: - Haxor.fi (https://mod.haxor.fi/); - Modules.pl (http://www.modules.pl/?id=modules); - A XAD client (http://aminet.net/package/util/arc/xadmaster020) to unarchive downloaded archives; - A ARexx command-and-control system (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARexx) to gently ask a player to play the modules; - A CLI-based interface to control the basic parts of AmiModRadio; - A MUI interface (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_User_Interface) to control the various parts of AmiModRadio, in particular: - To save modules; - To browse modules lists; - To rate modules quality; - A companion Web server (http://www.chingu.asia/amimodradio/) to store users' ratings of the modules.
