Short: An Analog Computer/Simulator for the Amiga. Architecture: m68k-amigaos ACES - Analog Computer Emulator System Version 1.1 ACES is a program, designed for the AMIGA, to emulate the operation of an analog computer system. ACES permits solving small systems of differential equations commonly found in the engineering and scientific disciplines. ACES uses a simple block-oriented language to implement the system equations in analog format. There is a one-to-one coorespondence between the instantaneous values of the mathematical equations and the output of the implemented analog element blocks. ACES is only an emulator and does not really solve all system equations in parallel but comes very close to emulating a parallel analog system in continous time. ACES features an analog-style control panel, a simulated X-Y plotter, and an on-screen data editor. Good quality plotted output can be obtained by exporting the plot data to several external plotting programs. ACES is designed to execute on any Amiga with 500K or more memory and AmigaDos Version 1.3, or greater, operating system. ACES is freely distributable as Giftware. All rights, to the program, are reserved by the author. It is asked that all files in the distribution be kept intact. The "Analog_Emulator" drawer can be copied to and everything executed from a hard drive. Binary only. Author: Robert Berkey
